What are the next steps in the Our Missoula Project?
With the Listening Sessions wrapped up, the next major public outreach push is to formalize the focus groups which commence October 22. Focus Groups will meet once a month for six months and will have the use of Resource Team members and Planning Staff. During those six months, there will be additional review of the Focus Group recommendations through the Steering Committee. Recommendations will ultimately move on to Planning Board and then City Council. We are also in the process of creating existing conditions reports as a baseline for making community goals and objectives. Here's a timeline graphic to take the project through the rest of 2014. Lastly, a reminder that this is a one to two year process, estimated to wrap up at the end of 2015.
